EMERGENCY CARE
We ask that clients call prior to coming for emergency care, as doctor availability may be limited depending on scheduling.
After hour and holiday care will be provided by one of our listed referral clinics.
INTERNATIONAL HEALTH CERTIFICATES
USDA Health Certificates are required for travel outside of the continental United States. Regulations vary by country so please contact our office for further information.
MICROCHIPPING
Thousands of pets are lost every year. ID tags and microchipping help ensure your pets get back home.

WELLNESS EXAMS
Wellness exams are recommended for all pets once a year.
They are also required by law to keep prescription medications such as heartworm and flea treatments current.
INTERSTATE HEALTH CERTIFICATES
Many airlines require a USDA health certificate for air travel. Please check with your airline if you plan to fly with your pet.
HEALTH CERTIFICATES FOR SALE
Health Certificates are required under Florida law for sale of any cat or dog.

SURGERY
My Pet Animal Hospital provides a wide range of services including preventative dental cleanings, spays and neuters.
A written estimate can be provided at your pets Pre-Surgical examination.
VACCINATIONS
Our Vaccine packages will vary by price depending on your pets needs, and previous medical history.
Please call and speak with one of our staff members so we can more accurately serve you.
DENTAL CARE
Routine dental cleanings are available on Tuesdays by appointment only.
Most patients can be discharged home within a few hours.
Pricing will vary by size, and age.
A written estimate can be provided at your pets Pre-Dental Exam.

ABOUT
OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Istvan Tanko DVM
My Pet Animal Hospital was opened in the spring of 1998 by Dr. Steve Tanko.
Dr. Tanko graduated from University in his native Budapest, Hungary in 1988, and relocated to Pennsylvania.
He completed his internship at Iowa State University, and after a few years of digging his car out of snowbanks, he followed the warmer weather to Florida in 1995.
He enjoys the beach, basketball, and temperatures above 70 degrees.
